I was blessed to be the daughter of a Army officer family. I grew up on the north side of the city and completed my elementary, middle and high school education there. I have a Business degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso and have worked in corporate finance for 12 years with two Fortune 200 medical companies where I not only dealt with the numbers but also supervised a financial department. I learned many of my negotiating skills from dealing with all the different personalities and responsibilities. I lived my young adult life in the central part of the city and personally have bought and sold numerous homes throughout San Antonio. Being a product of the North East Independent School District as well as having two sons attending and graduating from the same district I have an in depth knowledge of the schools and the system.
